Yoga as a Path to Love and Remembering

In my early years, I resisted yoga, finding more joy in dancing and walking than in any guided practice. It wasn’t until a friend gently challenged me to a private 40-day practice that something shifted. Through that commitment, I discovered not just movement of the body, but a quieting of the mind — a doorway into deeper presence.

Shortly after, a dear friend returning from yoga teacher training invited me to be her practice partner. Over two years of private sessions, I fell in love — not just with the postures, but with the sacred space the mat became: an altar for my body, mind, and soul.

Yoga blossomed into a lifestyle, a daily devotion. Books, magazines, home practices — I absorbed it all with a heart wide open. Six years into this journey, Spirit whispered to me, You will teach. And so began my path of sharing this love.

I completed my multi-disciplinary training by the ocean in the lineage of Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar, where the healing waters supported my growth, and returned to teach — a few classes at first, growing into private sessions, Chair Yoga, Yin and Restorative Yossage. Yoga became my medicine, my way of remembering, and a bridge to the Divine.

Yoga found me, and through it, I found myself. It is my joy and deepest honor to share this love with you.
